The grapes were grown by Bruce McCormack in Legana in the West Tamar Valley of Tasmania. Overlooking the Tamar River, a select 600 vines, over 24 years of age, are handpicked, and 1 ton

of grapes is delivered to Utzinger Wines in Legana.
This wine was fermented in two French oak barrels, aged 5 and 6 years, adding complexity to the wine without forward oak characters.

This Chardonnay is a light-bodied wine with characters of citrus, lime and Granny Smith apple, with undertones from the old oak barrels. The wine offers a crisp and clean mouthfeel on consumption.

Drink lightly chilled to allow the delicate fruit flavours to develop.
